An easy, no-fuss tea-time treat. A delicious Banana Bread Recipe.

During our #FUNFILLEDVELVET Competition, one of our winners entered with this delicious Banana Bread recipe.  We tried it out and we approve! This is the perfect tea-time treat for those lazy Sundays, served with some First Choice Butter, warm Butterscotch Velvet, or some cream cheese.

Ingredients:
 2 ripe bananas, mashed
 1 banana, sliced
 1 cup First Choice Butterscotch Velvet
 ¾ cup white sugar
 1 egg
 ¼ cup First Choice Butter, melted
 1 ½ cups cake flour
 1 tsp baking soda
 1 tsp salt
 First Choice Butterscotch Velvet, warmed for serving.

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 170 °C.

Mix all ingredients well with an electric beater (except the sliced banana).

Pour the mixture into a well greased bread pan.

Pack the sliced banana on top of your bread mixture.

Bake for 40 min.

Allow to cool, and serve with warmed Butterscotch Velvet.
