Custard & Apple Tartlets

Easy Peasy! Makes 6 servings of delicious First Choice Custard Apple Tartlets.

Ingredients:
 1 l First Choice Custard
 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
 2 tbsp cake flour
 1 Granny Smith Apple (medium-sized), thinly sliced
 50 g First Choice Butter, melted
 2 tbsp castor sugar
 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 Double cream, to serve
 Fresh fruit, to serve

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 220°C.

Grease 6 small ramekin dishes and roll out the puff pastry.

Use a 10cm round cutter to cut out 12 pastry rounds and place 2 into each ramekin.

Sprinkle a bit of cake flour into each ramekin to coat the pastry.

Pour 3 to 4 tablespoons of First Choice Custard into each ramekin.

Toss together the apple slices, melted butter, cinnamon and sugar.

Place 2 to 3 apple slices on to each dish and cook for 15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.

Allow to cool slightly before serving with double cream and fruit.
