Keeping the doctor away is as easy as First Choice Vanilla Velvet Apple Pie!

Ingredients:
For the Apple Pie Stew:
 1 l First Choice Vanilla Velvet
 100 g First Choice butter
 5 ml cinnamon
 ¼ cup sugar
 2 cinnamon sticks
 6 apples
For the Pastry:
 ½ sleeve puff pastry
 1 egg

Directions:

Heat oven to 180°C. Using a medium round cookie cutter, cut out rounds. Cover the puff pastry with egg wash and place the tray in the oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.

Place the pot on a Snappy Chef hot plate or stove. Add the butter, sugar, cinnamon and cinnamon sticks.

Cut the apples in medium-sized blocks and place in the pot.

Stew the apples for 15 minutes.

Assembly:

In a glass, add 2 tablespoons of the apple mixture on one round puff pastry. Repeat.

Pour First Choice Velvet over the dessert and decorate the dessert with nuts and/or fruit.

Sit back, relax and apple pie!
