Cheese Fondue

Use our range of Baby Gouda cheeses to make a delicious cheese fondue. Choose from a selection of chilli, black pepper, herb and plain Baby Gouda cheeses by First Choice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chilli First Choice Baby Gouda
  • 1 black pepper First Choice Baby Gouda
  • 1 herb First Choice Baby Gouda
  • 1 plainĀ First Choice Baby Gouda
  • 3 tbs cake flour
  • 3 tbs First Choice Butter
  • 1l First Choice Milk
  • 1 tsp garlic (or to taste)
  • 1/2 cup of biltong shavings
  • 1/2 cup of sweet chilli sauce
  • Meat and veggies of your choice, cut into bite-sizedĀ pieces

METHOD

  1. Melt butter and mix in cake flour.
  2. Add the milk and bring to the boil.
  3. Divide milk mixture into 4 medium sized bowls.
  4. Grate all the cheeses separately and add to each milk mixture.
  5. Mix well and add more milk if too thick.
  6. To the pepper sauce, add biltong.
  7. To the herb sauce, add garlic.
  8. To the chilli sauce, add sweet chilli sauce.
  9. Make sure everything is mixed well and place on fondue sets to keep hot.
  10. Serve!
